Forgiving: Your wallet can be recovered from a secret seed.

Safe: Your seed and private keys are encrypted on your hard drive. They are never sent to the servers.

Low trust: Information received from the servers is verified using SPV. Servers are authenticated using SSL.

No downtimes: Your client is not tied to a particular server; it will switch instantly if your server is down.

Ubiquitous: You can use the same wallet on different computers, they will synchronize automatically.

Electrum bitcoin wallet allows you to store bitcoins. It's used on android and on a PC. It resembles the Bitcoin-the from 2011. It features a signature bar, where you can sign an address and use it as some kind of private key that isn't able to hack to your wallet. The signature can be used during when an announcement about a bitcoin hard fork that's coming, but you could use the signature to prove ownership of that wallet associated with the address. The theme again, resembles the Bitcoin-the wallet. But with added features. The electrum wallet has been known for the new critical security vulnerability found on November 24, 2017, although on January 7th, they managed to patch the vulnerability.
