IOTA welcomes two new members to their team
The offices of Human Resources and Communication will see new directors
The IOTA Foundation has just appointed two new executives to their team, both of them with a remarkable background in their field of work. Cara Harbor and Daniela Faustino are joining the foundation as Heads of Communication and Human Resources, respectively.
The announcement was made via Medium by the founder of IOTA, David Sønstebø. They represent the two latest additions to the team, in a series of recent employments to expand their personnel.
About Cara Harbor
A native from San Francisco, Cara Harbor is a Silicon Valley veteran, with 19 years of experience working in the field of communication strategy and media relations for tech giants such as Adobe, LinkedIn, ArcSoft, Hewlett-Packard (HP), and many other companies. Since spending most of her time working for tech enterprises, her background encompasses many subfields such as open source technologies, IoT, enterprise/IT and more recently, cryptocurrencies.
As Head of Communications at IOTA, she will be tasked with managing the internal and external communication strategy, updating stakeholders and interested parties with the most recent and relevant information about the IOTA ecosystem, in a clear and timely manner.
About Daniela Faustino
Born in Germany, Daniela Faustino is an international business executive with 25 years of work experience in building teams and organizational capacity. Her background includes working for ABB, ELKA, Neumann Partners and Kelly Services, Kienbaum, and FESTO – her latest job, in which she took the role of Director of Human Resource for FESTO Southeast Asia, in charge of all HR strategy and operations for that geographical region, and managing around 420 people across 6 countries (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, and Thailand).
With fluency in eight different languages, Daniela will be in charge of the Human Resources department at IOTA, being responsible for matters related to HR, such as Recruitment, Exits, On-Boarding, Development, and others.
