The Augur project allows users to predict events and upon successful predictions, one is rewarded. However, today we get to predict the future of the platform. Augur Price Analysis
The coin began in 2015 just under $2.00 but quickly made headlines and soared to trade over $5.00 in much of 2016. This was an incredible achievement given that cryptocurrencies were still unpopular at the time.
Towards the end of the year, the coin dropped below the $5.00 mark and registered $2.86 as its support level. In 2017, again, the bulls were at it again. This time they surged on past the $10.00 mark which was no surprise as many cryptocurrencies were performing exceptionally well and the industry was booming. By June of 2017, the coin had surged as high as $32.00. However, towards the end of the year, the bearish market had caught on and the coin had dropped to trade at around $17.00.
The new year brought great returns to those who held on and those who bought up the coins in December. Prices dramatically shot up to their all-time high of $107. The only other time the coin has come close to this was in May when It hit $50. At the time of writing this, it is trading around $12.90, around the same place it has been stuck in for weeks.
Reasons To Be Bullish About The Coin In 2018
According to many critics of the platform, Augur is just a glorified betting platform. However, this is far from the truth. The platform offers a source of information for a smart contract- Oracle.

Currently, the online gambling industry is worth over $50 billion and it is almost certain that Augur will get its share of the prize.
