Pied Piper Coin
Pied Piper Coin is the name of fictional ICO created in the series. The main character Bertram Gilfoyle, who is Pied Piper's chief system architect, talks about all of the advantages of such solution. He says: "What attracted me was the passage an ICO offers across the river sticks of venture capital. What attracted me was an informed disdain for traditional fiat currency, its paper stained with the greasy fingerprints of your banks and your mints."
He also mentions that he's been interested in the cryptocurrency scene from the very beginning and has been even mining Bitcoin.
It's good to see creators of mainstream series making an attempt at bringing the topic of cryptocurrencies closer to the people. Such appearances have a chance of contributing to the faster adaptation of blockchain technologies in our everyday lives.
